There are very few facilities and clinicians available in the field of mental health in our country, and many times not even affordable to those who needed them most. According to sources in Pakistan, around 50 million people suffer from common mental disorders for whom there are only 400 trained psychiatrists in the country, which means there is only one psychiatrist available per half-million people.
