Frequently Asked Questions
Where can I buy stationery in Billings? Barnes and Noble carries premium notebooks and planners, Hobby Lobby and Michaels stock art and craft supplies, and Target and Walmart offer affordable school and office essentials. Independent gift shops downtown often feature greeting cards and unique paper goods.
What notebook is best for fountain pens? Look for notebooks with thicker paper, generally around 100 grams per square meter or higher, which reduces feathering and bleed-through. Leuchtturm1917 and several premium Japanese and European brands are popular with fountain pen users.
How can students save on school supplies? Shop early sales in July and August, buy multi-packs of pens and notebooks, and choose durable items such as reinforced binders that last the entire year instead of replacing cheaper ones mid-semester.
Are digital planners replacing paper? Many people use both. Digital calendars excel at reminders and sharing, while paper planners and journals help with focus, memory, and reflection. Choosing tools that match how you think is more important than following trends.
